Dancing Teletubby Toys

The Teletubbies - Tinky Winky, Dipsey, Laa-Laa and Po are 4 lively, cuddly, multi-coloured characters who live in a delightfully green land of rolling hills and flowers inhabited by rabbits, otherwise known as Teletubby Land. The weather in Teletubby Land is always sundrenched (except at Christmas time when it snows), with the cheerful baby sun beaming down and giggling during each episode. The four main characters each have a television screen in their tummies but have very different personalities.

Choose Your Dancing Teletubby

Tinky Winky is the purple Teletubby, he is the biggest with a triangular antenna on his head. Tinky Winky always carries his big red magic bag with him. Dipsy is the green Teletubby, he has a straight aerial on his head and is often seen wearing a oversize, jaunty black and white hat. Dipsy has a stubborn streak and occasionally disagrees with the other Teletubbies, going off to do his own thing! Laa-Laa is the yellow Teletubby, she has a curly aerial on her head and is a considerate and thoughtful character. Her favourite thing is a huge orange ball; she can often be seen bouncing it around Teletubby land. Po is the smallest of the Teletubbies. She is red with a little antenna that has a circle on the top. She has a red scooter and scoots around Teletubby land honking the horn.

The Teletubbies first appeared on children’s television over 10 years ago and caused a huge stir among grown ups who didn’t understand the Tellytubby language and it was all a bit surreal. Bet legions of young Teletubbies fans over the years absolutely love the TV show and the 4 loveable characters have more than stood the test of time.

This year they are set to make a huge Christmas comeback with the new interactive Dancing Teletubbies toys.
